check out my 4 little elves...

Thanks Holly! My kids got a kick out of this~ I think we watched Heidi and Hallie at least 3 times and they were laughing hysterically

"D" is for Dakota~

This week has been somewhat of a strange week... lots of down time. It's not the same around here when the kids are sick. Lots of quiet time.
As you can see I am set out to disprove the theory of the more kids you have the less pictures you have of each of them. Micah helped me out with this one, getting Dakota to smile. Of course when I asked him if I could take his picture he didn't agree to it. I think he is a lot like his Daddy. I like how these turned out but I set my ISO to high so I don't think the quality is what I wanted. I will probably try to do it again someday...but for today these pictures make me smile.~

Sitting here feeding baby and thinking about Christmas time. I don't usually read The Message version but enjoyed reading this classic Christmas verse:

Thinking of this family today...my dear nieces and nephews and brother-in-law and praying that today they would shine like light in the darkness. Also praying that they would see Christ in the mist of the battle they face.

3 month girl!

I can't believe that our baby girl is already 3 months old! She had a little bit of a rough start dealing with colic but these days she is pretty much all smiles. I am incredibly thankful to the Lord for blessing us with such a healthy and strong baby. She is rolling over all of the time now. In fact sometimes it is hard to keep her still enough to change her diaper...I don't remember that happening this early with any of the other kiddos! I love seeing how each of our kids develope into their own unique personality. I think so far she seems to truly be our laid back one~ I remember thinking that with Cassidy...until she started moving! That is always the true test.

For now I will cherish every moment I get to spend with her...because as every mom knows...it goes by incredibly fast!

It's me!

So, I thought I would join the world of blogging...Just for fun and also to have a creative outlet to collect my thoughts and memories that I want to share.
If you know me you know that I love to take pictures. I love taking pictures of my kids but lately I have been wanting to expand my portfolio a bit. It is so refreshing for me to be able to photograph people and God's creation. I really enjoy this outlet not only because I love it but also because I get to meet some new people. Here are some recent pictures I took of a fun couple for their engagement session. I had a blast meeting them and they made picture taking easy because of their great smiles and fun attitudes...easy to tell they are in love...and loving every minute of it! It is fun to see someone's personality come out when you photograph them...As you can tell, these two were really so much fun. Can't wait to shoot some pictures of the beautiful bride to be.
