From Beth Moore:
"Humility is the natural posture of anyone who grasps the GREATNESS of GOD."
I Peter 5:6 "Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that He may lift you up in due time."
I have been convicted lately in how I respond to people I meet in public who look at me and say things like, " Are ALL those your kids? How do you do it? I used to respond with something like..."With a lot of prayer." Or, many times I respond with nothing at all but a smile...not giving the glory to the ONE who deserves it all.
I felt convicted.
Convicted that in some way I was communicating that it was MY action of praying that was pulling me through.
My action.
It is not about me.
I also felt convicted because saying the word "prayer" these days doesn't mean a whole lot.
Who in the world am I praying to?
Humility is something that I continue to work on...knowing that as wife and mom I am NOTHING apart from Christ and His power that is at work in me.

Thanks for the good reminder, Kristin. The better we understand who God is the better we understand who we really are!
