Happy Birthday to this incredibly special little girl...
She has brought more laughter and fun to our family that I could have ever imagined.
She is sweet,
obedient and loads of fun.
She loves to be held...loves to
sing...
loves to dance...
and just loves to be silly!
She definitely seems to be our very independent and outgoing one...YES outgoing~
more so than her older brother and sister.
She reminds me so much of her Daddy in more ways than one...
she has his sense of humor...
they share the same love language...
she loves hugs and kisses.
And, of all of the kids she looks most like him.
I set out to take the pictures of her above, to remember her 2 year birthday.
Each picture is really a story...a memory.
As you notice her hair isn't even "done,"
but that is the classic Cassidy.
I think she will always be that way...
She has never loved ribbons and dresses like her older sister.
She has always seemed athletic...
she loves to throw and kick a ball and has ever since she could crawl around.
Her little box she is holding contains all those little treasures she collects when she plays outside
and of course she has always loved her baby dolls.
She has a silly side but at the same time can be very serious...
I think I captured a few pictures of her serious side.
We have this game that we play when one of the kids are grumpy...
We say, "Don't smile!....No! Don't smile!"
And of course Caitlyn and Micah can't help but smile and laugh...their mood changes instantly.
Cassidy on the other hand doesn't really play that game.
She can keep a VERY straight face with out breaking a hint of a smile.
It's kind of funny and one thing that I truly love about her.
She doesn't do something just because someone else wants her to...
She does something because she wants to.
I am so thankful for this little girl and the joy that she brings to her family.
I pray that the Lord would use this year in her life to reveal more of Himself to her.
I pray that she would see His love in every circumstance and know that
Jesus loves her...
just likes she loves to sing.

Happy Birthday to Cassidy~ I love her un-fixed hair look! It's too cute. Reminds me of my Tiffany's hair at age 2. It always seemed free and a bit un-tamed, like her personality. Sounds like she is quite a fun, entertaining little girl! Keep enjoying every bit of it, the years fly by SO fast!
blessings,
Abby~
I do love her hair! Happy Birthday little Cassidy!

What a beautiful little girl. I still see her as a baby in my head, but she is no longer a baby, is she! I can't help but wish she and Aubrey could live closer together. I think they would have so much fun together. Did I give you one of my pictures of Micah and Aubrey on the John Deere at Mom and Dad's house?
