It is amazing that it has already been 8 months since I had this sweet little girl. Where does the time go?
She has been the perfect little addition to our family and I cannot imagine life without her. Glad God always knows exactly what He is doing!
She is officially a mama’s girl- I don’t think I have had a baby quite like her. She will not eat from anyone else and if I am in the room she will demand that I will hold her even if someone else is wanting to love on her.
She has been doing much better in the nursery…they used to call me out of church every week. This is also the first time I have had a baby behave this way. I have finally learned that if I leave the sling that I carry her around in she lasts through the church service. The nursery workers say she just cuddles it close and cries off and on and will crawl to the door unless they hold her. We are making progress!
She does love her siblings and is easily entertained by them. She loves to be right in the middle of them whenever they are playing.
She loves music and is starting to dance a little whenever she hears it.
She has yet to share any words with us but perhaps it is because at the slightest sound a sibling jumps to her aid. And her siblings DO love her. I must say that I have never really seen Cassidy be mean to her. In fact yesterday Dakota was in her swing outside and she started to cry. When I walked over to her Cassidy beat me there and I found her patting Dakota on the back saying, “Don’t cry baby, Doda. It Ok.”
There is a lot of love to go around here…and around this 8 month old girl~
