More confessions of a stay at home mom~

I have this secret obsession.
I love to swing.
In fact I have spent the last half hour swinging on the porch swing watching my kids enjoy the beautiful breezy weather today.
My goal is to one day reach the upper deck with my foot…if only my legs were about 2 inches longer:)
There is just something so peaceful about the sound of the wind rushing past my ears and face as I fall backwards. Everyway other sound is forced to silence…
even the sound of cars driving by.

Peace.
Watching my kids at play and enjoying the outdoors…and each other.
Peace is what my Savior knew I needed today.
Yes, yesterday’s post was full of selfishness.
Isn’t it funny how I can so easily lose sight of the important things in life as I want to scream, “What about me! Could I get two minutes of peace and quiet!”
I know My Savior gives me exactly what I need every second of every day that will bring me closer to Him.
Yesterday’s chaos has the same goal as today’s peace…
And that is drawing me closer to Him.
He gives me exactly what I need.
Sometimes it is just hard to keep things into perspective.
Isaiah 26:3You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is fixed on YOU.
