Praying for direction~

Praying for Greg today. I have been praying for him all week as usual but praying specifically that today the Lord would bring him wisdom and clear direction. This morning he is facing the first meeting of the week.
He has quite a few interviews/meetings this week and I sense a change coming ahead as far as where the Lord is leading him for work.
I am incredibly thankful to Greg that as he pursues an enjoyable occupation, one that I think he was created for, he has ALWAYS put his family first. He has been a strong source of stability for myself and our little ones. Thoughts of changes in career come often in his mind but he carefully and prayerfully pursues them rather quietly around here. He has an incredible amount of wisdom and follows the Lord in all that he does. I cannot imagine life without him.
Many doors seem “open” right now, so I am praying that the Lord will close the ones He does not want for Greg. I am praying that He will make it obvious.
Greg has also written a program called Memorize His Word (http://www.memorizehisword.com/) and has recently sent a package to Lifeway and Family Christian bookstores. It is an exciting journey but most of all I am so proud of his work. He gets very positive feedback from those who have purchased the CD and are memorizing more scripture because of it. It makes me one proud wife to see my husband make such a difference in lives of people that he has never met with a God-given gift in the area of computers. It just goes to show you that God can use ALL of the gifts to bring glory to His Name. Greg also pursues this with great humilty something I am still learning and something that i find in him that amazes me~
This week is a busy one for Greg so I am praying that the Lord will bless him in his time and energy and will show me how to be more of a helper and servant to him during this time.

I was talking about that with someone this week - asking God to CLOSE doors. Sometimes the struggle is TOO MANY options and no clear direction as to which to choose. We will be praying that God's will for Greg is clear, and that God will give extra grace and strength to you as Greg's helpmate.

I pray the Lord will direct every step you take together in this life! As a help meet, I often struggle with those rumblings of newness as in my earthly flesh they often set in motion the enemy placing fears of instability and insecurity at what lies ahead. Praise the Lord, however, that we have men in our lives that bring everything to the foot of Christ and allows his hands to sift through each detail they bring. That is truly exciting to hear of Greg's amazing CD. I pray it empowers the Kingdom of God in a mighty way!
Love keeping up with your blog! Precious precious family!
